How to get fit for basketball?

I want to get fit for basketball. Should I do sprinting or long distance running to be fit for basketball. Explosiveness vs endurance? Which muscles should I exercise for basketball? Which exercises would help?Btw im not fat so I don't need to lose weight.|||pushups and suicide are the best excerises for basketball|||yea interval training is the best way to go,you can learn more about it here http://www.intervaltraining.net/ its basically sprints,with jogging rests,never stoppin but not goin all out at the start and being ******* for the rest of the workout!|||run intervals, dont focus on weight training, do plyometrics and hit the court everyday that's te best help
